October 4, 2010 at 8:16 am #357639Hello i tried superfish vertical menu (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/6731) and found conflict with
id=”ja-container”
and
class=”ja-moduletable”i found that if i rename those id and class.. superfish working properly… i think this might be a CSS issue… hope someone could help me..
if i exclude:
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”/ivc/plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/css/layout.css” type=”text/css” />
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”/ivc/plugins/system/jat3/base-themes/default/css/template.css” type=”text/css” />the superfish begin to work…
can anybody have idea to debug it ?

October 4, 2010 at 2:03 pm #357674It’s best to integrate ExMenu Menu for Joomla: http://de.siteof.de/extended-menu.html
October 4, 2010 at 5:24 pm #357684I think it really a CSS conflict, i try ARI Ext Menu (which use EXT framework) located here:
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems/drop-a-tab-menus/11710and found the same problem and same solution, it seem combination between ja-container and ja-moduletable restrict the the popup menu to work (i’m using T3 Blank)…
i really there will be solution for this problem as i really confuse on debugging with the css..
for anyone new in this thread/discussion:
1. please install T3 Blank
2. replace mod_mainmenu with Jquery Suckerfish or ARI Ext Menuthe pop up should not work…
3. copy the static html (the source end-view) from browser
4. rename/delete ja-container and ja-moduletable
5. try the new staticthe pop up works !
hope this help you guys to reproduce the ‘bug’ i had…
October 5, 2010 at 4:48 am #357740Hello,
i’m updating the joomla T3 on my site for a live reviewhttp://www.dxc-server.com/ivc_debug/ <- the default with a bug
http://www.dxc-server.com/ivc_debug/test_ivc.php <- static html after i remove ja-container and ja-moduletable
with notes:
1. the pop up shown but “get cropped” by overflow:hidden
2. the pop up menu are not inline but get ‘dragged’ down for an half of <li>’s heighthttp://www.dxc-server.com/ivc_debug/test_ivc2.php <- static html after i remove ja-container and ja-moduletable and manually put the code below the <body>… pop up menu run perfectly
i really hope (as this is a basic) i don’t need joomlancer to solve this matter…. appreciate your help…
October 5, 2010 at 4:52 pm #357818it’s been several hours from my last post, and i hope someone in joomlart team or expert member(the team) can visit this thread, i already provide the most detail problem i face..
now i have several things in my mind:
a. the team member doesn’t find solution yet and still looking for a solution
b. the team can’t find the solution and for temporary giving up
c. the team decide that pop up vertical menu is not compatible with T3 Framework due several technical reason
d. the team are looking for an alternative solutioni’m opening a support ticket hope there will be solution…

Regards 🙂
