    Hi 1002,

It’s sad to hear that, each JA template is different, due to the concept of every template, it will use different layout with various modules. Hence, new users may feel strange in controlling, but we’ve already provided details guidelines and documentation. If it’s hard for you to config / setup any extension or template, feel free to let us know and we are willing if you need any helps

here’s a couple thoughts about that

whilst I appreciate that each template is different to some extent, after so many years of designing joomla templates surely it must be obvious to JA that there are a number of close similarities in positions that users expect to be used for similar modules.
So at least some attempt at clarity and consistency in the naming of those would help to avoid confusion.
    for example:
In hawkstore a ‘sidebar’ is called sidebar1 or sidebar2 – which is kinda descriptive == good
whereas in fubix a module position which is in effect a sidebar is called position-5 or position-7 == wtf position is position-7?
    there are many others

And ja templates often have positions defined that show up on module position selectors – but which dont exist in reality.
So not including those would help to avoid confusion.
    for example in fubix: breadcrumbs
    there are many others

    regards

    b.

    Hi bule,

You are right, our recent templates use sidebar1, sidebar2. Basically, the idea of using position-5 and position-7 is that default Joomla is using these positions and we keep it the same names.
