April 22, 2016 at 9:06 am #921479I’m really not sure if this is template related but I need some advice here. I host on a VPS managed by myself with about 10 web sites with relatively low visit. All sites use T3 & JoomlArt club templates.
One of the sites using JA Bookshop suddenly slowed down. When checked I saw the initial page load is waited too long, but perhaps it is a .htaccess issue, I’m not sure.
Attached you can find initial part of pingdom results and htaccess file on the web root.
When I changed the htaccess redirect to a /dummy directory it got redirected fast, thus I think it is not htaccess related.
I used Admin Tools to re-check ownerships, used phpmyadmin to repair/optimize database, recompiled CSS from LESS etc with no avail. The site is in non-development mode, cache on, rewrite engine on.No other Joomla sites have this issue (all T3 & JoomlArt templates). htaccess files are basically the same.
Now I’m creating a ghost copy to start disabling stuff, but any input is much appreciated.
