– Download -> Extract
– Install Template thru automatic installation
– Upload theme inside theme folder of VirtueMart
via FTP inside Joomla_site_path/components/com_virtuemart/themes/Inside the Joomla site Via FTP do this :-
1.) Rename the Old theme from Default to anything bla bla
2.) Now Rename the theme “ja-mesolite” to “default”Back to Joomla Admin :-
– Install all 3 Modules
– Go to Site — > Template Manager –> Module Positions
– Check you got 2 main Module Positions
– slideshow & slider // None of the Letter should be capital
– If not present just write the name of both the modules & click save on top
– Go to Site –> Template Manager –> Site Templates
– Click the Radio Check on JA Mesolite & Then Click Edit HTML on the Top Right cornerNow to create a new Module Position you have to add a code // Creating Mod position for Product slider
After this line you have to add a new code for Product Slider to work :-
Approx Line No – 145 – END: SLIDESHOW // After this line

Thats it you are all SET — Cool Please thank me as I joind yesterday, Its my first day with Joomla Templates, But my guesses always work, I don’t know how.

July 30, 2008 at 2:51 pm #263078Hii, The code above is for adding a module position which was not present in Ja Mesolite for Joomla 1.0
I added this code & created module slider myself, Now I am sure we are missing on some of the Dimensions or the exact position of the Product slider module on the page.
So please disscuss with the template creator & add here what else we need to do to successfully run Product slider on our webpage

Thank you for your useful tips. That’s the way you could load more module positions to your site.In case of Mesolite, you could load javmproductslide module to position vm-lp as guided in readme thread.
