    I am unable to insert wmv in JA Purity that works in IE7. I tried using AllVideos (plugin) , and also the embed object method. IE 7 gives an abort message, even though the file will play. However neither left, right side or bottom/footer information will load. I get IE abort message and it just hangs till I click “O.k.” or close the message. Than the page is gone.
    Video works fine in rhuk-milkyway template.
    How can i get it working? Running Joomla 1.5.9

    Would like to take a look if you have a URL you can share.

    <param name=”AutoStart” value=”true” />
    <param name=”URL” value=”src=/images/stories/videos/Nov.16-2008.wmv” />
    <param name=”uiMode” value=”full” /><embed width=”320″ height=”250″ src=”/images/stories/videos/Nov.16-2008.wmv” type=”video/x-ms-wmv-plugin” pluginurl=”http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia” allowchangedisplaysize=”1″ autosize=”1″ displaysize=”1″ showcontrols=”1″ showstatusbar=”1″ autorewind=”1″ autostart=”1″ name=”player” /></object></p>

    I have upgraded to joomla 1.5.10. I had the domain name moved to a different server, but I still cannot get the video in IE7. I have even removed the right side menu for the article, no difference.
    Any help please? I really do not want to switch to another template.:((

    Can anybody please advise on what to do to get a wmw file to run properly in JA_Purity template and to stop aborting IE7?
    Thank you
    Veronika
