Hello.

I’d like videos displayed on my home page but can’t seem to manage it. Please could someone let me know how I can enable videos to be displayed on my home page. They do not need to be playing, but there should be a thumbnail visible which users can click to play the video if they wish.

Template: JA Puresite
Extension: JA Side News 2
Website: http://www.praizaronline.com
Example: Scroll about half way down the page to ‘Free Advice’ if you click on the articles (read more) you will see that there are videos in the articles (hosted on YouTube). I’ve tried embedding the video in the article page, but it has the same result (no thumbnail on home page).

Hi Helen,
To add video in your article, please remove filter in editor by:
1. change No Filter in Back-end >> Global Configuration >> Text Filters
2. Go to Back-end >> Extensions >> Plugins >> Find Editor-TinyMCE (if you using this) >> Open and find Prohibited Elements, remove text ‘iframe’.
When adding your video code, please use Toggle Editor.

About thumbnail creating for video, I think you may using some extensions that support for video, cause JA Side News only support for image only.
