    Hello i am trying to embed a vimeo video into the html of my article

    when i do so the video does not show within the article, just the hyperlink to vimeo.

    When i put the embed code in the Extra Fields Group 1 field the video appears at the top of my article… I would like to be able to place the videos where i like within the article and also not have the video resized.

    How do i accomplish this?

    Thanks

    Matt

    EDIT:

    Guys i’ve also noticed with titles such as Featured Videos on my end it doesn’t appear in Pink font for the first word

    and also…

    i’s there a way to create a duplicate Featured Videos page as shown on the demo?

    http://www.joomlart.com/demo/#templates.joomlart.com/ja_methys

    I need two of these styled pages…

    one for exercise videos

    and one for recipes

    but not sure how to mimic the demo

    Hi
    By default Joomla have filter extra tag like object.
    So that’s why when you have posted in Joomla editor, it’ll be filtered.
    Just turn off it than you will be fine.
    Thank you

    Hi
    You can go to Article Management – Options and there you can see that.
    For simply way to do anything on your site match our demo site is install a quickstart on your side, and use it as ref 🙂
    Thank you

    The featured video is actually a simple bit of html putting an iframe in a module. To see the code you have to set the “No Editor” option then edit the module. You would then be able to see the code and edit as required. Or simply remove that module and create one of your own.

    Have you managed to turn off the text filters yet?

    which module would that be, currently i’m looking at the “video” module?

    It is in the video module in the cideo position but you can only see the code if you go to global config and select the no editor option. When you then go back to the module you would see the following code.

    <div class="left">
    <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/18952185?title=0&byline=0&portrait=0" width="672" height="378" frameborder="0"></iframe>
    </div>
    <div class="right"><div class="inner">
    <h4 class="ja-video-title">Win our Women of the Year Gift Bag!</h4>
    <p>Header One Lorem emphasised ext dolor sit amet, ong ext consectetur adipisicing elit, abbreviated. Header One Lorem ipsum emphasised ext dolor sit met, strong ext.</p>
    <a class="ja-video-commentslink" href="#">7 comments</a> / <a class="readmore" href="#"><span>View</span></a>
    </div>
    </div>

    I would remove the iframe bit and replace it with your own vide code or a tag used by one for the various media extensions available from the JED.

    thank you, that’s sorted now.

    appreciate it.

    … i would like to recreate this exact page layout for another of my menu items… how do i recreate?

    slightly off topic:

    I noticed this message when i open and close certain module options

    You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#48).

    Can you elaborate? An image would be really helpful

    Hard to say without knowing exactly what happens when you see that message.

    I mean just the feature videos blog layout underneath the featured video. I would like to create the same page for another menu item.

    Nothing happens as such, i’ll take a picture of it the next time i see it.

    Could you tell me where the demo content for the featured articles blog list is?
