Great question. I am interested in that myself.

I am also looking for a way to inbed video into the article and play it from my server rather than youtube or something like that.

The Mono template looked like it had that capability.

You can find video play with JA Masthead module from templates/ja_mono/html/mod_jamasthead/default.php file and it only support to responsive with the layout and does not support compression on this case.

Beside that, you know file name extension to support video include: mp4/ogg/webm
