I am looking for some advice regarding putting videos on some of the pages on my website I have contacted my host regarding formats ect and they have indicated that any formats can be hosted
although they would have to be uploaded in the same format because they don’t provide FFMPEG
to convert videos on the fly, so any encoding would have to be before uploading To be honest I am not sure what they mean by encoding have googled it but it gets more confusing. Any help please.
PS have downloaded allvideos plugin from joomla.org not sure if this the best!

I always use allvideo. To encode your video, use the software “SUPER”.it convert all video and audio format (avi to flv, avi to mov, mov to avi, mov to flv,etc…)
Then use allvideo to play the video and it’s done!
