Could you break down the process of having the Virtuemart categories on the top horizontal navigation bar. As I currently have the categories to the left with (mod_virtuemart ). would also like to know how to get the drop down menu with the above?

    Kind Regards

When you click on one of the virtuemart categories on the module you get the url for it, then you can go to the main menu management and add a new external link there, then you get it in the top menu.

Are you sure it can be sweet dreams? Think about he/she misses that little piece to finish the site, but no clue what to put there to perfect the site.

    Hi Multipazz,

This is a very hot item.
There isn’t any feature for VM for the main menu
Menalto’s reply is an option, but for every category you have to make a menu item.
That is ok if you haven’t to many, but if you have…. It is a h@ll of a job

What you CAN do is…(only works if you have a few main categories, you’ll see why if you test this)
place mod_product_categories in the vm-fp module position at the top

    Details
    Show Title: No
    Enabled: Yes

    Menu Assignment:
Set it to your VM menulink

    Set parameters to:
    Category display type > JSCook
    JSCookMenu Orientation > Horizontal

There you have your VM dropdown menu

In the future VM 2.0 probably will work with MooTools

    Hope this helps

    Good morning!

    1. With the URL (http://www.multipazz.com/your-account?page=shop.browse&category_id=11&vmcchk=1) copy & paste I get a 404 error. This could be that I have mod_rewrite on? Or do I need to change the URL?

    2. ‘Imagine’ Could you break down your process some more? I have it working, but not in the dark gray bar where the ‘home’ and ‘shop’ are.
