Hello,

Great Template! I think my question should be redirected to Virtuemart support, but I hope you guys will be able to help me. So I want to create a product variation ( possibility to choose size and color). I probably should create a certain custom field but I’m not sure which one I should choose. I hope you can guide me through it! 🙂

Hi @pavit,

I created the string for it but now I have another problem, how can I remove the aditional charge showing when you’re choosing a different size? I couldn’t find it in virtuemart forum..any advice?

Nevermind, I found how to remove it. Just in case someone will look for it:

administrator -> components -> com_virtuemart -> models -> customfields.php

Line 874:

$price ="+".$price;

Change to:

$price ="";

OMG… those detailed descriptions are listing 5+ years old VM 1.0 help pages.
It would be much more helpful if YOU would put some basic CURRENT info/help on YOUR documentation as VM uses something weird logic what is hard to follow.

I am also lost with this old "advanced Attributes" vs. new "custom fields" as I did not found documentation for the "new" one what is 3 years old or maybe more :/

You can receive help on joomlart forum for each specific issue you are having regarding extensions configurations, but you should open a new topic describing as much detailed you can, problem you are having and we will help you to solve your problems.
