Here’s a heads-up to all who work with Macintosh. After more than a week of frustration trying to update categories and products with VirtueMart component on JA Mesolite template, I discovered that the problem is with Safari and VirtueMart’s javascript – they just don’t work together. If you are working on a Mac, be sure to use Firefox and not Safari. Works fine with IE on PC. I hope this saves someone the grief I suffered.
