for future ref how did you disable the jQuery on Masonry and if so, where? I can see the two settings in VM

Use external google jQuery library – set to unchecked
Using the VirtueMart jQuery – set to unchecked

but don’t know where else you changed the settings?

Yeah, this is option disabled on VirtueMart

For the disabling jQuery on Masonry: I disabled it on JA Template by:

<blockquote>Admin area->Extensions->Template Manager->Edit JA_Puresite template->Profile tabs->Edit default-> remove jQuery lib</blockquote>
