I’ve been tossing around the idea of using linkshare, commission junction, or some other affiliate type network to create some storefront sites. My biggest issue is getting some good SEO for products which leaves me wanting to take product lines and feed them into virtuemart as a catalog. Then I can create individual pages to tune for se’s.

I was curious if anyone is currently running virtuemart in catalog mode with products linked to affiliate accounts? If so, what are you using to get individual product feeds into virtuemart? I’ve only seen one joomla/virtuemart component “joomla shopbuilder” that will pull in product data from CJ api and dump them into virtuemart. Has anyone seen a similar component a company that gives you cvs product data feeds?

Most that do that use “Affilinet” content or “Zanox”. Do not do this by myself, but can tell that it works by seeing people making it. Do not know if those extensions they use or ways to do it are listed in the Joomla Extension Directory.
