September 4, 2013 at 3:28 pm #190299Hi,
How do I enable custom fields to show in the product details view?
Eg. if I sell a t-shirt I need the customers to be able to choose their own size and colors. Right now I only see How many products to add, and add to cart button. Nothing more. However, if I create custom fields and add t-shirt sizes as an option, on the front page with featured products there is an ugly popup (eg. not aligned) showing the option to choose size. How to make this look better? Alternatively how to remove the add to cart option but keep the show details option visible?
Thank you.

September 5, 2013 at 11:19 am #504726Hi,
Thanks for offering to have a look at it.
You can access the demo site here: http://com2.udemo.net/
To view the site please use the below credentials
Username is demo9
Password is demo99
These credentials will be active for a couple of days, then revoked.Pay close attention to the “decks” tab under the 3 ad banners 320×150
Doing a mouse over on any item under “decks” shows the broken layout when Custom fields are enabled. How can that be fixed?
Same thing for “Featured Products”. The layout breaks when Custom fields are enabled. (you may have to refresh the page a couple of times to get a product with the attributes enabled)Then click on “details” to go to the details page of the product, and you will see the Custom fields are nowhere to be found. How can that be enabled?
Further to the original problem, how can I show the discount amount, original price and sales price in these otherwise beautiful modules on the front page? Right now I can only get it to show one price, which does not indicate if it is on sale or not. It’s quite critical to be able to show a sales promotion that indicate how big savings the clients get.

September 11, 2013 at 4:55 am #505294Is anyone working on this?
The fix detailed here does NOT work: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/vm-custom-fields-not-showing-on-product-page-on-ja-hawkstore/#post-502805
Edit. Clarification: The solution in the link above functionally works, but breaks the layout of the page.

September 13, 2013 at 1:00 am #505660I have managed to solve some of the issues myself.
However, I’m still awaiting more info.FIXED: 1. How to show “Details” on the front page modules, without having to enable the “Add to cart” button?
(Fix here: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/front-page-product-views-broken-with-custom-fields-added-picture-attached/ )NOT fixed below:
2. How to show Standard price, Discounted price and Discount amount (if space permits, otherwise Standard and Discounted prices are enough) on the front page modules? Right now it only shows one price with no indication if that is the Standard or Discounted price.
3. In category view, how to to show Standard price, Discounted price and Discount amount? Right now it only shows Discounted price and Discount amount. (Alternatively show Standard price and Discounted price only)
4. In detailed view, how to show Standard price, Discounted price and Discount amount?
5. Standard price should have a strike through if a discounted price is enabled. No strike through if no discount.
Thank you so much for your continued attention and assistance.

September 28, 2013 at 3:04 am #507358Yes, it is solved 99%.
Only thing is that when NO discount is applied it still shows both Sales and Normal price. It should only show “Normal Price” and not sales price when there is no discount. It’s a minor detail but may confuse shoppers. If you have a solution for this I would be very happy. Thank you.

October 9, 2013 at 7:51 am #508453Hi Calavaro,
I think that this is default of VM, the normal price is price without tax.
If product has discount, the price named Salesprice with discount: will appear.
