Hello,
I have a problem with VM.
I’ve done the installation of the demo on my hosting, but now, if i click on “add to cart” i get the error:
“Please enter your address first”It is weird because at the beginning it was working normally as into the demo.
Any idea please?
Thanks

May 7, 2014 at 7:21 am #533953HI Simone,
This may be due to the settings in Virtuemart configuration of your site. You can PM me admin login info of your site, I will have a look.

May 8, 2014 at 4:59 am #534110It looks like you’re using an old version of Virtuemart, could you take a BACKUP of your site and update to version 2.0.26a? (Our demo site is using this version)
May 8, 2014 at 9:36 pm #534242Ok, VM is updated, but i cannot see the front end anymore.. 🙁 just an empty page.
By the way, with the old version (That came from the quick start file), if I click “add to cart” on one of your sample product it works, if i click “add to cart” on one of the new product it doesn’t work..:( what can i do?

May 9, 2014 at 10:06 am #534335Please update the version I mentioned in above reply, this template is not ready for v2.6.0a I am afraid 🙂
May 9, 2014 at 11:19 am #534351-.- sorry, my fault.
Ok i’ve done.
Now the version is 2.0.26a and i can see the website properly.
I still have the same problem: with the products of your demo it works, with the new products of my website it doesn’t work.
The only thing which is changed, is that its not showing the error message anymore.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros

May 14, 2014 at 1:38 am #535002Please try to take a backup of your site and update template to the latest version
May 14, 2014 at 10:57 am #535100Hello,
I updated the template to the last version.I still have the same problem plus:
1) I cannot see the custom fields in the front end anymore (size variation).
2) If i try to click on the buttons + or – to increase or decrease the number of the product, it doesn’t work.
I have to type the number of the quantity of the product manually. What could i do now?
Thanks

May 16, 2014 at 8:05 am #535401Hi Simone,
For the custom fields, please try to turn off Optimize CSS and look at my post in this thread: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/vm-custom-fields-not-showing-on-product-page-on-ja-hawkstore/#post-502805
With the add to cart function, I even try to switch default template in your site to another standard template of Joomla like Beez but it still doesn’t work. Did you try to re-create these products?
May 20, 2014 at 1:40 pm #535874Hi Saguaros,
for the custom fields i tried to do everything you said, but nothing changed. I noticed also the problem of the quantity button, is present ONLY in the products where it should show the custom fields.I tried to create new products, and within a new product the cart function works, the problem is when i add one or more child products, because from that moment it stop to work.
Also, if i try to delete the child product, the cart function doesn’t restart to work.May 20, 2014 at 1:50 pm #535875<em>@betamtel 428238 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hi Saguaros,

.</blockquote>Sorry, following your instruction, now its showing the 2 custom fileds but the quantity buttons are still broken.
The add to cart function, as i said in the previous post, is still not working.Saguaros ModeratorSaguaros
