October 13, 2008 at 1:13 am #134323As usual the site, this time mesolite displays the VirtueMart Logo with a link directly below every content of the shop..
“Wow, great, what is this, I just want to go to checkout, but let us see what this logo there is first…Virtual Market are something…click…wooosh..Download VM 1.1.2. stable free, VM is a shopping cart for Mambo and Joomla….****, now I clicked close the wrong window, I closed the shop page and all my buys are gone….Lalalala. “
And this is nothing uncommon, I simply want to get rid of the logo and the link to VirtueMart.net from any place it shows up in my shops. I do not want to educate my customers about the benefits of this shopping cart software as they only want to enjoy shopping indeed.
So, anyone already cleaned a VM from all these misplaced logos and confusing links to the homepage of VM, especially in the shopping cart, they should have placed no link, as one click too low from the products added will open a new window to VirtueMart.net.
Okay, with some JA Modules, this cart link and logo is gone already but the huge VM Logo and link on any shop page is still there.
To simply replace the logo with a custom logo or whatever does not solve the problem but makes it more confusing, as a shop logo would lead to the VM Homepage than and THE LINK TO VIRTUEMART.NET MUST SIMPLY BE ERASED.
Also think about other users in this who also want this erased, on VM Forums I received no answer, maybe here.;)
