For the vmproductslide , i set it to be visible only in the home page, and when i click on other pages using the menu, the vmproduct slide dissappears, which is correct. But when i click on the virtuemart product tree on the left side to select a category to view, the product slide remains, but without any product images, only the slider

Another question, at the proudct category page, i see a empty box image beside the picture, which i one to remove. Another empty box appears after the description when you click on “product details”, which i also want it removed.This does not appear when i choose the default virtuemart theme. I have set the flypage to flypage_new.tpl. and category template browse_lite.pdf. I also realised that changing the flypage to other fly pages does not have any effect of the product detail page(the url link still shoes flypage.tpl no matter what i choose)

it contained Itemid=1 it meant that it still on the home page menu item when you clicked on any items on the left side,Please check again the setting of the virtuemart product tree on the left side.
