http://www.rebane.agape.ee/ was giving me a 404 error so can’t comment.

Yes it got changed afterwards, its a nice looking site but i found it too heavy to load. Pictures used are too big in download size for my liking (example 440kb for a 80×50 pic). Dont know if the site is yours if it is i would recommend you would change that.

It does look good visual wise tho!

They need to enable ‘Resize pic’ in JA news. As it is is displaying a big pic in a small placeholder.

there is no so small pictures with this kb size.. full pictures 1024px and 640px are 200 to 400kb. 80×50 are thumbnails. anyway, i change some things and must be littlebit faster now for slow connections. look: http://rebane.agape.ee

    Hello,

    BUMP!!

Just bumped this post so that the competition would be seen in the top 15 latest posts. Normally nobody would look at the showcase page link that would be seen if its not recent.

Probably JA team can make it fixed somewhere, where people would vote for it?

Also since it requires 50 votes to get it done, people should be able to see it happening.

again, this was just to BUMP the post up!! 😀

    Regards,
    Mihir Chhatre.

    Hey mihir

    Have a good time. 🙂

Looks like I’ve rode my luck now in winning the developer membership 🙁

I was hoping for third time lucky but I guess it’ll have to be next time.

Dont lose heart mate, we would be 14 in total, not winning this time. :p. Let the **** link into your signature and let you friends know and have a look at the list and vote for the sites. No harm in publicity… I would have voted for your site, but had to vote for my own ;).

    • Still short of 18 to make it to minimum of 50 votes requirement.
    • 815 thread views but 32 votes so far……
    • Bad conversion ratio.
    • Last 4 days left…….

anyone got any brilliant idea to increase the voting curve?….

Send a mass email or PM to all members eligible to vote.

Have nominations the first 10 days of the month and voting the last 20 days instead of vice versa in how it was setup this month.

Please vote if you haven’t done so already.

The voting dates increased till 5th Oct, so as to reach the minimum requirement of 50 votes.

The thread has run into an unwarranted controversy and zorroh you could have avoided it. On a personal note i think campaigning by forum signature can be justified at once, especially when we have such a low voting turnout. But asking for favours via PM or credit exchange would be unfair. Over 1,200 views but 37 votes (candidates included) reflects the popularity of the whole contest.

I based my vote on my favorite design, layout and overall quality of the site. There are quite a few very nice ones this month. Good work everyone. 😀
