Hello Everyone,

I understand “what” is happening with the Facebook social feed, but I don’t know how to fix it in the Wall. I have reviewed the other solutions and will not attempt a fix that is not specifically designed for the Wall.

I am getting a double image in the article and would like to fix it!!

Thanks

Hi Saguaros and thanks!! I did find that thread, but it is for a different template – do you think it is safe to try for the Wall?

Thanks!

Yes, in JA Wall template, you can add into this file: /templates/ja_template(your_default_template)/css/template.css. Remember to clear all caches then.

Thank you very much!! I will try right now!

That did not work and now I the following message on my page that I cannot clear:

Warning: Created default object from empty value in /my/path/ja_wall/template_tools.php on line 185
Here is line 185 – it is definitely the images for Facebook so I would not recommend the above solution!! I do not know hot to clear the warning?
if (preg_match ($regex2, $image, $match)) {
$images->image_intro = $match[2];
}
You can go to Backend > Global configuration > Server (tab) and set ‘Error Reporting’ to Default or None.

OK so you are saying to leave the css script in place? Because I removed it since I thought it would generate a bunch of errors continuously…

This solution no longer works for the most recent version of the JA Wall double image issue in the Facebook feed. I have unpublished the Social Feed plugin again – as much as I like the feature several aspects of the plugin do not function for my site. The twitter feed, the Facebook double image, and the Youtube feed are all broken on my site. Everything is up to date and the site is on the latest wall release.

For the issue of double images, you can try to update this attached file into social feed plugin on your site.

Remember to backup the old file first.

Thanks @saguaros – added the css to both the template.css and template_j30.css and replaced the .php file above and I still get the double image.

I appreciate the help – I am not sure what is wrong with the Youtube feed – as you know the API key is correct. It stopped working when I updated Joomla – I broke something, just not sure what. I have checked my database, etc – all seems well. Some of the css files do not seem to affect the site.

Thanks

Could you also PM me the URL of your site where I can see the issue?
