Hi there, last night I was working on my site on wamp localhost and everything was fine.
This morning wamp wouldn’t start so I re-installed wamp. Wamp works now, but when I try to load my site from localhost I get:Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in C:...wampwww...templatesja_oreslibsja.template.helper.php on line 84
and when trying to open the backend of the quickstart Ja Ores template installation I get:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in C:UsersDanielwampwwwjaoresadministratortemplateskheprilogin.php on line 35
I’m using WampServer Version 2.0 on Windows Vista 64 bit
Apache Version :
2.2.11
PHP Version :
5.2.11 ( I get the same problem with 5.2.9 as well)

5.1.36May 18, 2010 at 4:41 pm #343939I can log in to the backend admin section of my site, so the trouble is not with wamp. I just can’t load the front end of the site, either the version that I’m creating from scratch with the JA Ores template, or the default install quickstart of JA Ores.
I’ve tried PHP versions 5.3, 5.2.9 and 5.2.11 and there is no difference.
I’ve tried clearing my browser cookies, does not help.
I expect that the problem is a PHP or Apache module that was enabled in wamp before I re-installed Wamp and is disabled now:
WHAT PHP AND APACHE MODULES/SETTINGS ARE REQUIRED? Is there a certain version of PHP that must be used to get the front-end of JA Ores to load??
update:
I have ftp’d the site up to godaddy and I get the same error!

May 21, 2010 at 7:48 pm #344293I think there was a bug in my browser that somehow corrupted files.
I’ve now re-installed and can load the front end just fine
except for the following error code showing up on top of all my article lists:Notice: Undefined variable: use_cache in C:UsersDanielwampwwwardexus.commodulesmod_articlelistmod_articlelist.php on line 21
Any ideas on what’s wrong? I’ve got the same error on two machines:
wampserver 2 on windows xp
and
wampserver 2 on windows vista ultimate
I’ve tried PHP versions 5.2.9, 5.2.11, and 5.3.0
Are there certain php or apache requirements that should be turned on? I have apache mod_rewrite enabled.
