Faced problem when used K2 source for JA News Pro! Module. That texy appearce in content-mass-top instead of categories chosen.

Warning: Attempt to assign property of non-object in /home/public_html/modules/mod_janewspro/helpers/adapter/k2.php on line 266

What does it mean and which way is better to fix that? Can anybody help?

    Hi there,

Which version of Joomla are you using? and Did you try to upgrade to the latest version of this module?

Luckily it seems I found one of the ways to solve that is to delete row 266 in k2.php situated in public_html / modules / mod_janewspro / helpers / adapter.
Hope that will work well and would be helpful to other newbies.

    Hi again,

Did you try with switching error reporting off? http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/612/3574617087.png

Hi Saguaros, thanx! Error reporting was at maximum, I tried different modes. Only None and System defaults are suitable to switch of those warnings. As added deleted row 266 in k2.php and put system warnings to “system defaults” or “none” as you said, Saguaros. It helped 🙂

    I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM

Do you have sh404SEF installed? I do have it and thinks maybe it have something to do about that.

I have deleted line 266, and the error has gone… but I don´t think that is the way to solve it….
line 266 should do someting!!! maybe we need it for something else.

Once deleted line 266, I do have this sh404SEF error:
PHP Warning: htmlspecialchars() [<a href=’function.htmlspecialchars’>function.htmlspecialchars</a>]: Invalid multibyte sequence in argument in public_html/websitename/components/com_sh404sef/shPageRewrite.php on line 320

    Any idea? Thanks
