Hi,
After installing the module and plugins, when I perform a search I have the following message:
Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/…/public_html/components/com_sef/sef.router.php on line 270
Is there any known incompatibility with Artio Joomsef component??
Regards.

December 3, 2011 at 4:52 pm #427768Hi,
It looks like a compatibility error that has to do with PHP version installed on your server and Artio Joomsef.

December 5, 2011 at 10:25 pm #428095Hi,
many thanks for your reply. Why do you think it is a compatibility error between the php version and Artio Joomsef???
Artio Joomsef is working fine with the rest of components and modules. This error is only displayed when you try to search with the K2 Filter and search module.
In fact I have tested the core search module of joomla and it works fine with the results.
I also have tried the K2 Search Module disabling the Artio JoomSEF component and the module works perfect, so thats why I think it is a compatibility problem.
Best regards.
(The version is the K2 v2.5.1 on a Joomla 1.5.23)

December 6, 2011 at 12:27 pm #428224Hi,
As you can see from the error you mention on your first post:
Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/.../public_html/components/com_sef/sef.router.php on line 270
The problem is in function strlen() were the component com_sef makes a call in line 270 at file sef.router.php
I am sorry but that gives me the proper info to understand that there is a compatibility problem with ArtioSEF and your PHP version.I suggest that you should try to upgrade Joomla (1.5.25 is the latest version) and K2 v2.5.3 is the latest (up on my knowledge) version and try again.
Please let me know if that solves your problem.
Regards
December 6, 2011 at 9:39 pm #428282Hi,
everything upgraded to the latest version and the error is still there…I really think there is not compatibility between this module and artio joomsef.
Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Many many thanks.

December 6, 2011 at 11:30 pm #428288Updated.
I have installed everything from scratch to be sure not only that I was using the latest versions but also that the system was “clean”.
Same user and password.

December 7, 2011 at 1:01 pm #428429Hi,
the problem is still there. You can see it just clicking on the search button on the home page, and the error (Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/uplafcom/public_html/components/com_sef/sef.router.php on line 270) will come up over the logo.
regards

December 7, 2011 at 9:10 pm #428540Interesting, it gives the same error but changing the template I have noticed that the module is giving the result of the search correctly, but I hadn’t realized it was there as the template was producing a big scroll between the error and the search results.
You can check it now, I have given you superadministrator access…
December 7, 2011 at 9:19 pm #428541Hi again,
I have asked for support to Artio and testing different configurations the error has disappeared!!The key is on disabling the “Prevent non-SEF variables from overwriting the parsed ones”
It is not a final solution but at least it make it works together 🙂
pascm, many many thanks for your support
