Hi, I’m using the JA Wall template on my website with K2. I’ve decided to start using the default articles and used your plugin to import my items from k2. I’ve started receiving this error: Warning: Creating default object from empty value on the one page I set up. No issues with the k2 pages.

    Hi Paola,

This warning may due to the PHP version you’re using and actually this warning/notice often doesn’t affect functions on your site so you can get rid of this by going to Backend, browse to the Global Configuration and the tab Server. Set the option Error Reporting to something like Simple or None.

Thanks, yes I know I can turn it off, I just wanted to make sure it’s not a known problem with the template and the latest version of Joomla or something. I didn’t have this when I first installed in on Joomla 2.5 but might have used a different version of PHP back then too, it was a few years ago..

Indeed, the error disappears if I go back to php 5.3, but shows on new php versions.

This is an old template and it’s built with old PHP version in the time template created. At this moment, when the new PHP version comes out, some old functions in previous PHP version will become deprecated and it will show notices, warnings as above.

The team will check all of these when updating to J!3.5 (which will be released soon).
