Can someone tell me what the problem is here?
It shows up on my frontpage.

brand new install. No changes were made to original quickstart package.

You might need to tinker with your file directory permissions.

Go to:

Your site -> Admin Control Panel -> Help -> System Info -> Directory Permissions

Make sure all the permissions there are set to writable. You can do that via FTP Clients, setting the CHMOD of the directories to 775.

If the above does not work it could also be that safe mode is enabled on your server. Either disable it if you can or use the ftp layer.

The script is trying to create a directory and something on your server is preventing it from doing so.
