Our website is getting a Warning error on the front page on the left-side, and I have no idea how to fix it. The message says as follows:

Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of [runtime function name](). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file in /home/content/v/c/l/vclark7279/html/2009/modules/mod_jatabs/helper.php on line 130

Hi joseluisdiaz

If your mod_jatabs/helper.php on line 130 looks like this;

$plg->onPrepareContent(&$row, $pparams, 0);

take out the & and save the file, it should work fine then.

Ok try this, since 0” can mean No or false, try “1” (Yesor true)

I actually ended up disabling the JA_Tabs module. That did the trick!! 😀 Great forum!! Thanks for your assistance.

Yes that would work!

Shame though as it means that you won’t be able to use JA_tabs. If in the future you do want to use the tabs module and still have the problem put in for a support ticket and get JA staff advice.

By all accounts It might also make a difference which php version you are using, you need to be using php5.
