Hi

you can add a watermark through a third party image plug-in such as here: http://www.digimarc.com/mypicturemarc/default.asp

or you can create the same effect in a programme like PhotoShop by decreasing the transparency/adding a transparent layer. In some image programmes this is called a “washout” function.
