    Hi,

One of our clients has reported the annoying popup alert saying "we ready to rock your world" is appearing again, once an event countdown is complete.

There are 2 areas where the event countdowns occur (see the links in the private details section)…

    • Link A) On homepage slideshow.
    • Link B) On individual event articles.

As per this forum post, we have removed the alert line from /templates/ja_charity/acm/countdown/tmpl/style-1.php so it now reads as follows….

    <script type="text/javascript"> (function($){ jQuery(document).ready(function($) { $('.countdown').downCount({ date: '<?php echo $date->format('Y/m/d'); ?> <?php echo $helper->get('downdate-time'); ?>', offset: +10 }, function () { }); }); })(jQuery); &lt;/script&gt;

However the annoying popup message is still appearing once an event countdown has occurred…
Is there another php file we need to change?

Please bear in mind this is a live client site and we don’t control the backups, so be very cautious in your approach.

Please investigate and advise as soon as possible.

    Thanks

    Hi @pankaj Sharma,

The pages I shared are examples of the areas where the message will appears once a countdown ends.

Unfortunately I don’t think there are any countdown’s complete at the moment to give you as examples.

    Hi,

I believe that’s due to the fact that it’s appearing as a "past event". I will change the date of the event to tomorrow’s date, please check the page tomorrow once the countdown has expired.

Please also remove the image link in your previous reply (or mark reply as private) as this is a client’s site.

    Thanks

    Hi,

If you check the page now, you should be able to see the "We ready to rock your world" message…

    Thanks

    Hi
I fixed it directly on your site. Kindly check it now.
    Path :html/layouts/joomla/content/item/event.php
Apply the same solution that u follow in this thread first post.

    Brilliant, many thanks!

Just out of curiosity, how were you able to access and modify the "event.php" file with only backend administrator access? I’m not complaining, just curious.

    Thanks Pankaj Sharma.
