My website has been de-activate by the host, networksolutions.com. They claim that I need to update to the latest joomla. How do I update the template to the latest joomla? When I checked the update it says that there are no updates avalilable. Further, since the site is blocked I can only update the site via ftp.
Can you provide some guidance? Thanks.

    Hi
You can update the template from JA Extension manager component. Update all tge extension and trmp to Latest version and after this you can update the Joomla.
If site is not online i suggest you to ask your host to activate it so you can process the updates. Because if you will replace all the Joomla and template/extension file it may break your site.
Take a back up of site before updates.

Thanks for the response. But that is the issue. The host will not put it online until the version of joomla is updated. One more question, the template version is 2.5 and the latest joomla is 3.6; how can i bring the template to that version?

Sorry if I mislead you. I may have mixed up the template version. Thanks for the help. I have paid the hosting to take care of it for me. Thanks again.
