There maybe problem with cache, could you turn it on for now?
Caching is enabled in the global config and the system page cache plugin is enabled.

December 1, 2017 at 1:43 am #1078155It seems that enabling the cache and it’s working fine. Is that ok now?

I will give it 20minutes and try. Once the page is refreshed or home clicked it comes good for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Now it displays incorrectly all the time even if the page is refreshed.
This is only the landing page. All other pages are ok.December 1, 2017 at 2:54 am #1078173Ok this is a bit strange. It’s doing my head in…
If I type the URL as https://www.precisionaeroproducts.com.au the page displays normal.
Type in http://precisionaeroproducts.com.au and it displays incorrectly.

Not yet. Still chasing the issue. It seems to be variable.
I have done a number of things to try to resolve the matter but nothing has eliminated the problem permanently. 🙁
I disabled the system page cache plugin.
The .htaccess file was changed to htaccess.txt to disable it. Note, another .htaccess file has been created after I changed the domain redirection on precisionaeroproducts.net.au and precisionaeroproducts.comThe live site was noted in the configuration.php file. This has now been removed.
URL rewriting has been disabled in global config whist this matter is debugged.
PHP version was put back to version 5.6
I suspect that when the site is accessed the wrong index.php file is displayed until the page I sent refreshed or the home or logo is clicked. Note, the menu text/logo URL is different to the home menu button. http://www.precisionaeroproducts.com.au vs http://www.precisionaeroproducts.com.au/index.php

Thanks Saguaros,
FYI I’ve set most things back to what they were. Also added a fresh .htaccess file.
It’s a pretty hard thing to pinpoint as you fix the issue upon refreshing the page or clicking the home menu.
Cheers,

December 7, 2017 at 10:21 am #1079650Hi Jason,
As I remember that in hosting, they have option for cache and service like Cloudflare. Could you pls try to log into your hosting and check whether these options are enabled or not? If yes, pls try to temporarily disable them first and see how it goes.

Hi Saguaros,
My hosting is CPanel not cloud but will have a look for a cache option.

Jason.December 7, 2017 at 8:04 pm #1079740Hi Saguaros,
I’ve not been able to find the Cloudflare module in CPanel.
Under PHP version I did find the opcache extension but this is disabled. Enabling it didn’t make any difference either.
I will contact my host to see if they have any further information cache services enabled.
Regards,
Jason.
December 7, 2017 at 10:33 pm #1079774Hi Saguaros,
I have contacted my host and unfortunately they don’t use a cache module in their CPanel.

Jason.December 8, 2017 at 7:29 am #1079861Not sure if it’s pertinent or not but if the default home page is set to say the shop menu it displays correctly. It’s really only the featured articles and links etc that are playing up.
December 10, 2017 at 6:37 am #1080034Hi Saguaros,
I think I found the issue. It was a template setting for of all things, language. Once set to “ALL” it seems to be ok. Interestingly, the option is now greyed out and not changeable.
