I just recently installed the zeolite ii template and only added a few basic modules/plugins and when I check the load time using various online tools, its horrid. When I try and load the website at my computer it just site there and spins for least 5 seconds before loading…..

I know you have to optimize the mysql databases and the clean cache every so often, but this is a newly installed website….

When I check my site with this tool, http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/ I get terrible results saying i need to combine my ccs/javascript.

Will the ” jFinalizer joomla plugin ” work with this template? also I am having the same trouble with JAMesolite ii, very slow loading times.

http://www.ecigstickers.com is the new site I just started. / JAzeolite ii
http://www.ecig-skins.com is a site thats been up for a while now. / JAmesolite ii

both are on hostmonster.com which I just talked with one of their tech support reps, they checked with a senior tech about the problem and said it was a mysql database problem with the server and would fix it soon. But 9 months or so ago when I first put ecig-skins.com up I had the same problem then too and they said it was my website that was the problem, too many database queries, so they have had a problem with this same server for almost 1 year? very odd

Any help is much appreciated.

It loads almost instantly now. It used to take like 10 seconds or more before it would load anything, and my other site would just sit there and spin for up to 18 seconds before anything would load at all.

Guess it was always a hostmonster.com server issue then. Amazing though how I have called their tech support about this issue many times and they always blamed it on my website until now.

You can try to check this at your side with
Firebugs – YSlow to find out this thing 🙂
Or you can enable debug mode in Joomla global config to check how many queries used on site.
