Hi all! Today I proceeded to install one of their templates, JA Teline V. I downloaded the quickstart and all right, I have uploaded to the server via FTP and have installed. So far, so good.

Once installed entered the administrator. The first thing you notice is that ACmailing be updated and asked me to update it. Then I went to the global confugraciĆ³n site and changed the following paramatros.

    site Settings
    Robots: No index, no follow

    SEO settings
    Use URL Rewriting: Yes

    Server
    Gzip Page Compression: Yes
Server Time Zone: Argentina / Jujuy

Save and closed. Then I went to Extensions> Manage and install the latest version of Akeeba Buckup 4.5.5.

I’ve only done that, and now it turns out to load the cover takes too long. That could be happening?

My site is a temporary site: http://sd-1080030-h00007.ferozo.net/

    Thank you!

Hi Pankaj! Thanks for your answer. The odd thing is that the site loaded fast, what happened is that I changed the options in detail above and the load became extremely slow. I do not think the problem is the server is a dedicated.

    Cheers!

I installed the quickstart on another server (VPS) and the result is the same. Only to load the cover takes 8.42 seconds.

Also, I have activated Use URL Rewriting, and all links have stopped working.

    This is the domain: diariodigitaljujuy.com.ar

Dear Jak Pack. I am aware that site speed depends on various factors, server speed, page size, links, images size, Db connection etc. The problem is that I have not loaded anything more than the original Quickstart, and recommendations have already given me throw by default.

I tried it on a dedicated server, installing with MySQLi (sd-1080030-h00007.ferozo.net): runs slow.
I tried it on another dedicated server, installing MySQL (http://sd-1080030-h00006.ferozo.net/index.php): runs slow.
I tried on a VPS, installing with MySQLi (http://www.diariodigitaljujuy.com.ar/): runs slow.

What I mean is that there is something in the template that is wrong, it is heavy in itself. In another demo, I installed JHC plugin, and also fails to reduce the loading time of the site.

The template shown in their Demo (https://ja-teline-v.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/) load very fast, unlike you installed.

Sorry if I’m not very clear with the explanation.

    Hi
As i checked it showing the first byte load from site taking too much time that making site slow . If you will apply the suggestions (use Joomla cache ,browser leverage cache , CDN , optimize images) site load will increased.
Regarding site , its also use copy of site and use more heavy page size as compare to current quickstart that is optimized by team (images replaced with dummy images with less size.)
    Hope its clear now .

I testing and testing, I found the problem. The problem is the module Yahoo! weather. I have disabled the module like the quote and everything works fine now. Should review the performance of this plugin. Cheers
