    Hello,

I noticed that loading my website on a samsung galaxy tab goes extremely slow, (+ 30 sec) on an older computer the site is also a lot slower.
I have been testing, and the problem seems to be the mega menu.

    url: demo.baronis.nl

what can i do? Any bright ideas?

    Grtz,

Have you performed any specific site speed tests that indicate the mega menu is the culprit?

If so, which one(s) and what are the results leading to your conclusion that the mega menu is slowing things down?

in the template manager you can select which menu module to use,if i select a small menu for example “user menu” the site loads alot faster, about 7 seconds.

then my menu might be 2 big (302 items including, titles and seperators)

but when i keep the same menu module and use a different menu type, for example drop-line.The load time is about 10 seconds.

The droline does not support the most read and highlights but when i disable thosein the menu, the load time is still 41 seconds,it look like it hangs somewhere half way…

Honestly, I have no idea. I don’t think the megamenu is causing your site to load slowly.
Just checked the url http://demo.baronis.nl and i see it worked as normal.
