I am trying to remove the H1 Header on the Front Page called “Welcome to the Front Page” and want to replace it with Recent News.

WHERE do I change this in Joomla 1.5 version!

It is a page title which can be set to hide (within your site administration) as follows . . .

Menu Manager >> Main Menu >> Home >> System Parameters

Set show page title to “No”

I have changed this to Recent News and “welcome to the front page” doesn’t change

Take a look at the administrator language files (within your site file directory on your server) and adjust in there . . .

administrator>language>en-GB>en-GB.plg_system_jat3.ini
