Welcome to the Frontpage wont go away. I know this setting is under menu, and your menu links but it wont change it no matter what I put in there.

1- log in on your joomla admin

2- Click on Menu > Main menu

3- Click on “home”

4- From the list you see in the right column, click on “system” and you will see an option to write a title and says “welcome to the frontpage”. You can edit this text so it can appear in the browser and also in your index or you can hide it with the option below.

It is strange.
Have you tried to clean cache?
I had a few problems with my favicon (I changed it but it did not work) and it was solved by cleaning the cache of my two browsers and inside the administrator panel (on the left of preview the site) and closing the two browsers and opening again.
Maybe it works for you too, maybe you did follow the right steps but the problem is it does not show the changes.

GO to Menus -> MainMenu -> Home Edit Page -> Find the Parameters (System) TAB in the right Column

you will have a provision to enter the “Page Title”. Enter a your page title and save it.

If this does not work. Please post your admin details with the site Url Either here or in PM.

Replace the Following Code

With


<?php echo $this->escape($this->params->get('page_title')); ?>
