In Administrator, please go to Menus -> mainmenu, click Home link to edit this menu.After that, you will see Parameters, select Show Page Title to No, save changes.

Taking Mfcphil’s post further – whatever text is in the menu item parameters (system) page title will show on the browser tab even when it is set to no (so that it doesn’t show on the actual page). So if you want something else to show on the browser tab enter that in this box. To just show the name of the website leave the box empty.
