I don’t want to be a spoil-sport, but I just downloaded JA Simpli, extracted the .zip file, and now I have four separate files:
com_jaextmanager.v2.6.3.zip
ja_simpli_3x.zip
ja_simpli.v1.0.1.zip
plg_system_designit.v1.0.0.zip

It would have been nice to have a doc file that explained what each of these .zip files is and which ones I need for the installation. For example, what is the difference between the 3x.zip and the v1.0.1.zip files. Also, are both the com_jaext and plg_sys files required or are they optional. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On the download page we mentioned the file type http://prntscr.com/gql5ev
Quickstart package contains the sample data of demo site and contains all complimentary extension by default.

If you are installing the template on pre-installed Joomla you need to install other extensions separately.
