Why is being ‘tableless’ so important?
I am not sure, but I think that when it is full css-based you can “easily” customize every part of the website with CSS.

November 11, 2008 at 8:25 pm #278876I like this template a lot. It is highly customizable if you make a little effort. I was looking for a quick loading template for my hosting site. I had been building on another template, but when I saw this one, I swapped immediately. I am still developing locally and will post a link when I have uploaded the whole site. I have changed it up a bit; the basic elements are there and that is what I wanted, the rest was up to me .
Despite all the moans about joomlart templates – I find them great – its a base idea that you can build on and improve and takes all the hours out of building from scratch.
November 11, 2008 at 9:34 pm #278884I’ve really liked working with this template too. My site just got up this weekend – http://www.cakespace.com if you want to see it. I did a few custom things (mostly with the logo area) but kept most of it the same. It’s a great framework for my purposes!

You can just disable the option to change the template colors in template manager so that people cannot pick other colors.
November 11, 2008 at 10:25 pm #278894Thanks for telling me that. I actually didn’t want that enabled and thought it was hidden because I’m not using the cpanel login, but now I see the little arrow that made the other color options drop down. I just disabled the color options in the admin area so everyone is stuck with pink!
