Hi

I am testing Teline II but I find I cant use Joomla form extensions like Breezy Forms or Art Forms etc. ( Joomla 1.53 with Teline II Template does not allow the installation to proceed ).

What would be a good,reliable, stable form extension that can work well with Teline II or any of the new templates that are being developed by Joomla Art.

I need to produce the ” normal ” kind of forms ( name, email, organization, fields with check boxes or choices) , must be able to do basic validation and be able to store in a table , send to a predefined email etc . And off course be able to incorporate captcha.Also it would be good if they can capture users already registered with the site ( instead of having existing users key in their name etc again for a new form ) .

So much the better if it can integrate with JA Highside.

Please advise as I am quite desperate to have a reliable form extension to work with Teline II and other Joomlart templates.

Have you tried to change template and then try to install it?

Hi Menalto

I got out of J1.5 for the time being. The form installation was not sorted out

I tried installing the forms under J1.015 but I get the same problem.Almost all have to do withMax_time out etc in various php files.

I am running on a local host under WAMP.

I read in the main Joomla forum that php.ini must be in the root directory.

Did that and my local site runs much faster .Also changed the max_ time out etc in php.ini etc.

Still problems exist.

Will not wait and see what happens when I host on a hosted site soon .

Btw, what form extension would you propose for Joomla with Teline II ?

One thing, try to use XAMPP as your localserver instead of WAMP. Maybe some problems is sorted out then?

Problem …cant install XAMP on my same machine ..says ports are already used…have to go and change some php settings ….will take time …never mind will try much later and revert
