In Teline III, there was a rudimentary ‘Feature articles’ module that displayed thumbnails of the first picture of the latest articles in a selected section or category. I miss that kind of module. While the new Teline III has in its demo version a very sexy feature module, it’s just a custom html module, meaning its contents has to be entered and updated manually, which is impractical on a fast changing news site. Ideally I would like to see the old feature articles module back, but with the looks of the new Teline III demo site, meaning article title and a (customisable) number of characters of the intro part of the article are displayed.

The quickest way to get this happening is to use an existing featured articles module such as this one (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/news-display/featured-articles/2385) and combine it with the functioanlity in Teline II to make it look like the demo site in Teline III.

Our module is only a demo. You can replace this position by other modules.
