I am very excited to use this template, but apparently I am doing something very wrong.. My site does not look like the demo in ANY way, I see others’ sites looking like the demo, but not mine.. Please advise..
Sincerely,

I am mostly interested in seeing the site come alive with this template.. Is there any in depth tuts on this particular template?

What is it you are wanting to accomplish? Developing a website is a very subjective project.
May 27, 2015 at 7:10 pm #572026It seems I need to understand Joomla more than I already do. I am converting my WordPress version of the site (http://www.fitlyframed.net/) to this JAChurch template in Joomla. I have very little experience in Joomla and I feel like that is my real hang-up. My experience in back-end development goes back nearly 30 years, yet I am not “getting it” with Joomla so far. Any guidance to get it going would be helpful.

May 27, 2015 at 9:21 pm #572050Hi @tgifriday
I can suggest to hire someone already expert in migrations from wordpress to joomla , around there are a lot of extensions that makes import contents from a wordpress site, try to take a look HERE
After you had your content migrated , you can then step into Joomla template customization to have Ja Charity template adapted to your needs,
