Ive entered my sitename as Cloud Front Domain – lets say it is “myownnewstoday”.
But when I try to open a file in that bucket, I am then directed to http://myownnewstoday.com/myimage.jpg.
And the browser tells that there is no such file.

So what is the correct way to enable a CF Domain.

You need some config Cloud front Domain and it’s beyond of our scope. Our support scope is limited to bug fixing and helping users get demo site a like setup. Hope you understand us.
You should get support from CF
