I would like to know which is the best way to do that when changes editing styles in my css template found in the 3t-assets folder, following the route that gives me firebug, but how I make for not lost changes when to compile LESS to CSS?

how to make changes directly to an area of the template such as changing color, etc sizes. the sidebar, and when you want to compile less css not lost it added?

I installed in local Xampp Joomla 3.2.3 , T3 Framework 2.1.3. and t3_blank template. I made some changes using Firebug.

    1. Duplicate template t3-blank with other name.
    2. Set the new template as default.
    3. Create menu and content.
4 Switch Enable Development Mode to YES.
    5. Enter in frontend site and made some changes with firebug and saved to css folder 3t-assets. Everything is ok. Refreshing tab show that.
    6. Return to joomla back end and pres button Compile LESS to CSS “Compile succesfull”.
    7. Switch Enable Development Mode to No and save.
    8. Returning to the frontend of the site, reloading the page and… the changes are lost!

If you have development mode set to YES then you should make changes to Less not css. The T3 assets folder is not real css – it is cache so if you want to do css changes set development mode to NO. Best to save your changes in a custom.css file.

Lots of documentation and help HERE

Why not create a new theme (if appropriate), and add your *.css changes to “custom.css”? In the event a new version is released you do not loose the changes to the Less or “CSS” files.
