August 25, 2014 at 5:26 pm #200782I have no idea what this space is in the attached image. Can anyone tell me? This started as a demo install and I have made mods, but the slideshow module that is installed is set to fit the images in dimensions so I don’t understand why there is a blue band below the slideshow.

Thanks if anyone can help!

August 26, 2014 at 1:34 am #547208Hi there,
Please go to Extensions -> Templates -> Templates -> Ja_sugite Details and Files -> css and find a new file custom.css, that I’ve create for you, putting in it only one style rule:
.ja-masthead .container {
padding-top: 0px;
padding-bottom: 0px;
}There you have it.
Happy joomlarting.
Regards,
Alex

OK, see it is fixed. What I would like to know is how you did it! Is there a doc describing this?
Thank you!

August 26, 2014 at 2:07 am #547214Hi there,
To read in more detail about your template styles customisation and custom.css file, please go to http://t3-framework.org/documentation/customization.html. Although this doc speaks about JA T3 BS3 Blank template, the same concepts apply to any JoomlArt template.
If you would like to play with how to create a file inside your template, please go to Extensions -> Templates -> Templates -> Ja_sugite Details and Files, select a folder within which you would like to create a file and click on “New File”:
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Alex

Just FYI: as we’ve solved your blue colored strip issue in this thread, I have now closed your corresponding private ticket with ID RVJ-663-21520.
See your around.

August 26, 2014 at 3:34 am #547234Thanks Alex.
Something still though: I noticed that on a mobile device (iPhone in my case) that blue border still exists. It’s almost like the module position has a minimum height that when viewed on an iPhone is taller than the images that the module itself is shrinking to if that makes sense.
So….the images are shrinking appropriately, but the background is not so it sticks out again. Hopefully I’m explaining that properly.
Thanks again!

August 26, 2014 at 4:12 am #547240Hi there,
I’ve just tried to play with adding .ja-ss-item {min-height: 0px;} to your custom.css only to arrive to “Account Suspended” message at your front end.
Please contact your host to sort out this outage for you and let us know once your site is up and running.

ARGH! That was an oversight on my part. I just upgraded my account on Siteground. I moved several domains via DNS but forgot to update that one. This site is also on that account and works fine:
http://www.karaokeacrossamerica.com/I just updated the DNS for hesszone,net. It should be back online shortly. Sorry about that……

No worries. Let’s take our time. Please drop us here a line once DNS servers have picked up new settings and site is up.

August 26, 2014 at 4:35 am #547249It is 11:30 PM here and I have to get up in 5 hours so I’m going to bed.
IME though, it took less than an hour to propagate the DNS for my other domains so it will likely happen as soon as I go to sleep….;)

August 26, 2014 at 12:24 pm #547300Alex, it is back up and going.
Thank you!
PS: I added that class you suggested, but it made no difference.

You didn’t go back to the original link it appears or your DNS cache needs to be flushed.
I have been working on it all day. I turned off SEF, but the base URL is still valid:

August 26, 2014 at 11:48 pm #547358Hi there,
I myself still can not access your sandbox, despite flashing browser cache and system DNS, but one of our experienced moderators, who was able to access your sandbox, will look at your blue strip issue for you fairly shortly.
Regards,
Alex
