Thanks for your helps.. – What should the settings be or what were the default settings, I have tried turning Trending topics on and noting is happening

I have tried everything and it is not showing, I have switched it to banner position 1, I picked some topics etc.. I think if I could figure our the default settings I might be able to get it working

I am hearing Topic and Article, I know what an Article is, but could use help knowing what a topic is.. or am I hearing this wrong

    Hi

I am hearing Topic and Article, I know what an Article is, but could use help knowing what a topic is.. or am I hearing this wrong

A topic is an argument and it can be common to different articles, you can add new topics choosing as item type Topic

Then assign topic to a specific article

After you created this association between articles and topics Ja acm module Trending topics will show them in header-1 position

Thank you Pavit.. That was just the kind of description I needed.. and I am sure if I goofed the settings up in Trending Topis, I can either figure it out by playing with it, Or I’ll be able to come back to you and ask again..

Not to go off topic but, Is there a book that covers, all the different mods and menus in this.. (I mean I know there are books, but one in plain simple English that tells it like you just did

    Thanks again

I’m sorry this does lead to another question… If I need I can pull up a list of Articles, a list of Categories, or a list of Menus; can I pull up a list of Topics?

Again thanks and we can consider this topic Solved

    Hi

(I mean I know there are books, but one in plain simple English that tells it like you just did

Actually there is no specific documentation for this , other than the official Teline V template documentation at this url

Some technical concepts are based on the assumption that the customer has a minimum knowledge of the basics of Joomla, and this is in principle correct because the subject of the forum is a template, this means that something is added to Joomla, and then one starts from a technical level of an upper step to Joomla, namely the adaptation to the specific needs of the customer.

In this case it takes over the Forum, where developers and moderators offer their knowledge and experience to help the client to solve this lack and at the same time providing answers as detailed as the solution offered to allow the customer to increase his knowledge of Joomla and add value to the forum.

So at the end maybe an exchange between us of some threads can help you more than a highly detailed documentation that could only generate confusion for some users reading tons of pdf pages.

Conclusion: Ask and we will help 🙂

Thanks again for your help it has been great..

I have not gotten the Trending topics to reveal yet, but assume it is a matter of playing with settings until it comes up.. But I know now from your help, I am on the right track
