    Hey Phill,

I wanted to touch base with you just in case you have resolved “Mega Menu” and “Bookmark” issues for me yet.

    Regards,

    Nawaz

Trying my best but I cannot work out why your bookmark problem is occurring. It really is odd and I have escalated it to the devs.

Fair enough, I will just keep my fingers crossed on both issues i.e “Mega Menu” and “Bookmark”.

    Thanks

The bookmarks one is the more complicated one. I think the mega manu is a simple conflict with another script you have running on the page and that should not be too hard to locate. The bookmark one is a complete mystery as to why it does not appear on certain pages hence asking the devs.

Thanks, would you be able to either send me some instructions on how to fix Mega Menu problem or fix it for me whichever is convenient for you, I am assuming that you would still have my login details, as for Bookmark issue; sure I will wait for your developers to figure it out.

    Regards,

    Nawaz

I have set the menu to mega menu and it currently works.

I would also suggest that you update your Joomla install as you are a couple of versions behind.

May be I was not clear enough explaining myself regarding the issue with “Mega Menu”, although Ithought I was.
I am still having the same problem with switching to different Menu styles from both Joomla Frontend and Backend even after you fixed Mega Menu.

Here is a little detail of the problem:

In “CPANEL “at the front end when visitors try to change Menu to their favorite style the site crashes, the same happens at the backend. I filed a ticket with joomlart a while ago, however, the problem was never fixed so I turned off the option to switch menu styles in “CPANEL” I would like to give site visitors levy to select the menu style of their choice. To make things little easier for you I have attached screenshots of crashed site. Hope this helps.

Screenshot # 1 CSS Menu Style

Screenshot # 2 Dripline Menu Style

Screenshot # 3 Split Menu Style

    P.S. I have upgraded Joomla.

    Regards,

    Nawaz

looks like a page assignment / css loss…. have you turned off css optimization?

    Thanks for the reply

Optimize CSS is set to “Linked files”

Optimize JS is set to “No”

turn css linked off, clear cache… you’ve got a js error http://screencast.com/t/A18z0geOXEG and you might try disabling w/e is causing all those overlays…. Locally I did not have the issue your reporting.

    “disabling w/e”

Could you please be little more specific what’s w/e? How do I disable it?

sorry w/e = whatever… I have no idea what extension you’ve installed is causing those overlays… there are a LOT of them… use firebug ( see my signature ) in console mode to see them.
you want css & js optimizations off for now.
    joomla cache & gzip off.
    cache’s and temp files cleared…
this sets your site up so you can properly analyze exactly what is going on and HOPEFULLY clear things up.
the js error I THINK is caused by a google ad app. I’ve seen it a LOT lately.
