February 13, 2012 at 2:39 pm #438202I still cannot get FTP to work. Everytime I try I get an “Access Denied” error message. I am using Filezilla for access.
February 13, 2012 at 3:08 pm #438204Okay, let me call Godaddy and find out what is going on. Please stand by.

February 13, 2012 at 4:16 pm #438215I have tried with those ftp details and I have asked another to try too. Both of us get the same response – 530 Login authentication failed
Maybe if you send me cpanel details I can see what I can do from there.
February 13, 2012 at 6:16 pm #438227CPANEL details sent to your PM.
Thanks

February 13, 2012 at 6:39 pm #438232I am afraid I will have to be defeated here. I have tried setting up a new ftp account via your cpanel and still your host prevents me from connecting
“Response: 530 Login authentication failed
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server”There is nothing more I can do. I know the problem is one of permission, the script it trying to create some folders but your hosting is preventing that. There could be a number of reasons and in this case I think your host is the best people to fix this. They should be able to look at their error logs and assist. There really is nothing more I can do as I simply cannot connect to do so.
February 14, 2012 at 5:04 am #438258Hey, Phill
No big deal, as far as I can tell you tried your best to fix the problem with all the honesty and I profoundly appreciate the effort. I will get on the phone with Godaddy and have them work on the issue.
BTW were you able to pin point the script that has been trying to create folders, if you were it would be a great help to be able to know exactly where to look.
Thanks again and my best,
Nawaz

February 14, 2012 at 8:15 am #438269I can locate 2 of the items and that is our css and js optimization script. If I turn that off you will see that the error gets reduced from 3 to just 1 message. Our script writes into the cache folder and the t3 assets folder so it seems obvious that these are not writeable. The third I did not manage to track down because of the inability for me to ftp to your site.
It could be that there is an htaccess restriction but the server logs should reveal exactly where the problem lies. Hopefully you will get a good support person at your host that can track it down very quickly.
