I already asked under several topics but noone helped me on this.
I am using Teline III on a news site.
And the language is Turkish.
First of all i found when i search in this forum about how to translate date.
As i did that, i realize that the format is not right.
The date shows like : Pazartesi, Mayıs 31st But i dont want that “th” because its meaningless in Turkish.
And if its possible i want to show it like 31 Mayıs PazartesiThat was my first problem.
Second one is :
I found the files i have to translate like “reset user setting” , “font size increase decrease” etc.
Or “Last update” next to the date on top.
I translate them from the source code
But Turkish characters do not display correct.
What code should i add or what shoul i do to display Turkish chars ?I am in a hurry for a project.
So if someone helps me on this i will be verry happy.gray Friendgray

May 31, 2010 at 9:10 am #345343Please specify how you changed the Date format (give the piece of code).
File languageen-GBen-GB.tpl_ja_teline_iii.ini contains the following lang constants.
HEADLINES=Headlines:
LAST UPDATE=Last update:
YOU ARE HERE=You are here:
BACK TO TOP=Back to Top
TOP=Top
RESET USER SETTING=Reset user setting
MOBILE VERSION=Mobile Version
DESKTOP VERSION=Desktop VersionSave the file in (with the encoding UTF8 NO BOM) in tr-TRtr-TR.tpl_ja_teline_iii.ini with Turkish translations of the constants after =.

May 31, 2010 at 9:00 pm #345426Use for example Notepad++ software to save the file with the encoding UTF8 NO BOM
Otherwise all non-ASCII characters will be lostJune 1, 2010 at 1:56 pm #345525Thank you very much.

June 1, 2010 at 2:55 pm #345534YOu can even use regular Notepad. Chose save as, then at the bottom where it says Encoding, chose UTF8. I have had the same problem with Norwegian.
