May 3, 2014 at 6:12 pm #197363Hi,
if we compare the massheads here
http://root.forwen.com/forwen/index.php/2014-05-03-10-32-40/rapidassign
and
http://root.forwen.com/forwen/index.php/2014-05-03-10-32-40/rapidassign-error
The first link was modified from the included sample and the second was newly created. I have tried a lot of settings but i just cant get the text to be white with a bigger height. Where are these set?
Thanks.

May 3, 2014 at 10:28 pm #533431Can you specify which text you are wanting to be white – perhaps with a screenshot capture and a pointer?

May 4, 2014 at 12:42 am #533445Okay, here is what you can do . . .
Create a file called “custom.css” within file path –> /templates/ja_beranis/css
Put the following CSS rule within that file . . .
h3 {
color: #FFFFFF
}SAVE CHANGES – CLEAR CACHE – REFRESH PAGE
Let me know if that works for you.

May 4, 2014 at 12:50 am #533448Oh? We are supposed use CSS to modify the formatting of the massheads? I thought just some lines in the masshead module and its done 😉
How about the height?
I also noticed that even i duplicated the mass head module to show an image… the image wont show either… i have to use CSS for that too?

May 4, 2014 at 2:45 am #533451For the height issue, try this . . . . .
Again, put the following within your custom.css file:
.jamasshead h3.jamasshead-title {
padding: 30px 0 0;
}.jamasshead.no-image {
height: 110px;
}You can, of course, play around with the various pixel values until you arrive at the result you’re most happy with.

May 4, 2014 at 5:22 am #533457Hi.. please correct me if I’m wrong, but these seem to be global values and will affect ALL mass heads? What I am curious is why the example article included with the template works fine but when i create a new article following everything the same (to my knowledge) it will turn out differently, as you can see, non white text and small height.
Am i missing something about the masshead configuration. I also noticed that Contact has a higher image, while the others have a smaller height image.

May 4, 2014 at 8:00 am #533462Hi, JA Masshead is a module with some configurations that you can modify page to page.
For example, in case of Contact page, we have a module assigned to it, named ‘Contact Masshead’ that have a specific image linked to it with – like:
[Masshead Itemid=”474″ title=”Contact Us” background=”images/joomlart/masshead/mh-1.jpg”][/Masshead]
Also, Contact Module has specific alternative layout indicated in advanced tab (in module config)
Please, note in your Module manager area that you have 4 different Masshead modules with different attibutes apllied – you can find usefull tips on how to use in module tab called ‘Description’ with fast and accessible descriptions and examples.
Or you can visit this link to a longer tutorial: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-beranis#install-extensions
(search for section 4 – JA Masshead Module to find the tutorial)Let me know if this help!

May 6, 2014 at 1:19 pm #533825Hi chizuoka, probably these pages have indicated the ‘page title’ mode ON
You can edit this config in your specific article, AND in your main menu buttons of these pagesEDITED: I look at your admin area, and problem in your case is that you have two JA Masshead modules indicated in that page, I only remove assignement of one of these modules, and black title is gone!
Let me know if its all OK to you, and happy Joomlarting!
