Can anyone tell me who controls it, or what controls it, the ability for 2 or more images to be displayed in same display box (with next/previous added to it) on the main articles? I am aware that if you edit/write the articles having more than 2 images then it will then be shown that way.

But exactly calls for that? and where is it? is is embedded in the php code somewhere? I would like to disable as soon as possible.
